BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Officers say they believe that students at Black River Falls High School are not bringing drugs to school.

Investigators searched the school with a K-9 unit Wednesday morning. They also searched the parking lots of the high school and middle school. The Black River Falls Police Department says it did 11 searches, and didn't find any drugs or paraphernalia.

The department says it appreciates support from parents and the community as it works toward keeping schools safe and drug-free. It also does weekly, random security checks at all the schools in the city.
