BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WEAU)-- A not guilty plea was entered for the man accused of killing his girlfriend in Black River Falls.
37-year-old Michael Harmon appeared in Jackson County court Monday.
Prosecutors say Harmon intentionally killed his girlfriend, Angela Nelson, at their apartment last June.
Harmon says he and Angela Nelson were fighting all day, and says she was shot during a struggle for the gun, but prosecutors say she wasn't shot at close range.
Harmon is scheduled to be back in court on March 19th.
