OSHA investigating workplace accident in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- OSHA is investigating a workplace accident that sent a man to the hospital.

The Eau Claire police department says it happened Wednesday morning at Cloeren Incorporated in Eau Claire.

Officers say an employee heard a bang and then a call for help and found 36-year-old James C. Bender with a large metal piece on his arm.

The piece weighed about 700 pounds.

Bender was taken to the hospital.

There's no word on his condition.
