Officers looking for two men in Thanksgiving Day theft

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wi. (WEAU) -- The Chippewa Falls Police Department is trying to track down two men they believe stole from a liquor store on Thanksgiving Day.

Officers say it happened around 11:00 a.m. at the B and G Liquor Store in Chippewa Falls.

It says one suspect distracted the clerk while the other took a deposit bag filled with an unknown amount of checks and cash -- and got away with it.

If you have any information about the theft, you are asked to call the police tipline at 715-720-6944.
