(WEAU) - A weekend of fun kicks off Friday with the start of Oktoberfest in Chippewa Falls.
First up to the official kick-off, the Golden Keg Procession. This started at the Leinenkugel Brewing Company and went to the fairgrounds by way of horse and wagon.
The keg was tapped and the Announcement of 2012 Festmeister and Festmeisterin took place.
This year, that title went to Jake & Peg Leinenkugel.
And Oktoberbest is not all about the beer.
Several stages will feature music through the weekend.
And you cannot forget about the food.
