One person hospitalized in Chippewa County crash

TILDEN, Wis. (WEAU)-- A man is hospitalized after a crash in Chippewa County Friday.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says it happened just after 10 a.m. on Highway 53, near Highway B, in the Town of Tilden. A 30-year-old man was driving on 53 when he lost control, went into the median and rolled.

The driver, who was the only person in the Jeep, was thrown from the front window of the vehicle.

He was taken to an Eau Claire hospital with severe injuries. His name hasn't been released.
