NEW INFORMATION: Name released of victim in fatal St. Croix Co. fire
(WEAU) - We now the names of the person killed in a weekend house fire in St. Croix County.
Deputies say Thomas Cook, 72, was found dead following a fire off County Highway I in Somerset on Friday. They say his wife Linda Cook, 62, was able to escape and was released from the hospital.
No word yet on how the fire started.

Somerset (WEAU)---St. Croix Sheriffs Department is investigating a house fire that started just before 11:00 pm Friday night.
Deputies say fire crews were called to 2107 County Highway for a structure fire. When crews arrived on scene they found once person had escaped the fire and there was still one person in the residence.
The person who had escaped was taken by ambulance to a hospital for injuries. The persons condition is unknown.
Deputies say once the fire was put out, fire crews found human remains inside.
No names have been released and the fire is under investigation.
