Packers seek to extend home dominance over Lions

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Packers wouldn't mind extending the Detroit Lions' streak of miserable Wisconsin visits this weekend.

They're certainly not gloating about the success, either.

Green Bay has won 22 straight at home against its NFC North rival dating to 1992, including games at Lambeau Field and in Milwaukee.

Subtract one playoff win in the stretch, and the Packers say the 21-game regular-season home winning streak against Detroit is the longest in NFL history.

The players on Wednesday followed coach Mike McCarthy's lead. They've heard about the streak, but they don't talk about it and it doesn't matter.

At 1-2, Green Bay has more pressing issues. Linebacker Clay Matthews was limited at practice with a hamstring injury, though tight end Jermichael Finley was a full go after recovering from a concussion.
