MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A manufacturing company plans to add 300 jobs to its office near Minneapolis over the next three years.

Polaris Industries Inc. plans a $20 million expansion to its product development center in Wyoming, Minn.

Bennett Morgan is president and chief operating officer of the $3 billion manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles and utility vehicles.

He says he's already hiring engineers for the 144,000 square-foot addition. When the project is complete, Polaris expects to transfer about 100 employees there.

He says they are temporarily placing the workers in Osceola, Wis., the headquarters in Medina and the existing structure in Wyoming.

The Star Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/PL9Sbx ) about 350 ATV and motorcycle designers, engineers, mechanics, calibration experts and quality technicians already work in the existing building.
