Police: Woman took pleasure in poisoning boyfriend’s dog

(WEAU) - A Wausau woman is now charged with abusing her boyfriend's dog and eventually killing the pet.

According to the criminal complaint, neighbors told investigators they saw Sean Janas, 20, hit the dog the day it died back in June. Janas denied it.

Then last week, the boyfriend's father told police he found Janas' diary where she wrote that she took pleasure in poisoning the dog and had beaten it several times.

She's scheduled to be in court later this month.
