Police arrest man for armed robbery in La Crosse

La Crosse, Wis. (WEAU)-Police arrested a man for the armed robbery of the Brookstone Inn in La Crosse in September.

The La Crosse Police Department says Anthony G. Keepers, 27, of Baraboo was arrested for armed robbery, 1st degree recklessly endangering safety while armed, and a felon in possession of a firearm. Anthony is current in the Monroe County Jail on separate armed robbery charges and other charges.

Officers say they were able to use surveillance video from La Crosse, along with other evidence and information collected from a Monroe County robbery and vehicle crash involving Anthony Keepers to identify him as a suspect in the Brookstone robbery.
