Police looking for garden plot vandal

(WEAU) - Police in Thorp are trying to find the suspects who vandalized several plots in the city's community garden.

The city says two private plots full of vegetables planted by Boy Scouts for the local food pantry were wiped out. The city says an UW-Extension agent inspected the garden and found the vegetables were killed by an herbicide that was applied to the plants in the last 5 to 15 days.

If you have any information about the vandalism, you're asked to call Thorp Police at (715) 669-5523.
