EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Officers are on the lookout for a driver who hit two pedestrians before taking off.
Eau Claire police say it happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Niagara Street and 4th Avenue. The driver reportedly didn't slow down before hitting the two men. One of the victims ended up with a broken leg, and went to the hospital. The other wasn't treated. Another man and a woman were with the victims when it happened, but they weren't hit. The person drove away afterwards. Officers describe the car that hit them as a dark-colored, compact, four door car, that may have front end damage.
