HUDSON, Wis. (AP) -- Hudson police now say an attempted child abduction was just a misunderstanding.
An 11-year-old girl had reported she was walking home from school Wednesday afternoon when a man and a woman pulled up in a car and the man yelled at her to get in.
Police on Thursday said they interviewed three Hudson High School students and re-interviewed the girl, and determined there was no attempt to abduct the girl.
Police have closed their investigation and say they are no longer looking for the car or the man and woman.
