EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The increasingly competitive race for the white house is leaving it's mark here in the Chippewa Valley.

Vandals spray painted political signs in the yard of an Eau Claire home.
Vandal's also painted the family van, and stole two flags from the yard.
Jenna bush, who owns the home, says attack on her political opinions is one thing, but damaging her private property is definitely crossing the line.

"If it was only our signs that got vandalized, we would be like, fine, so be it… we would've picked them up, got some new ones, and replaced them. But, once it crossed over and became our private property, like our van, it really bothered us a lot, because, I mean, it's our motor transportation, that's how we get around,” said Bush.
