Postal worker convicted of stealing money from mail sentenced to jail

MEDFORD, Wis. (WEAU) A Taylor County woman is sentenced to jail time after admitting to stealing money from mail at the post office where she worked.

According to the press release, a judge sentenced 26-year-old Katie Dassow of Medford to 30 days in jail with two years of extended supervision.

It says back in December, Dassow pleaded guilty to theft of mail by a postal worker, after admitting to taking cash from mail while she was employed at the Saint Germain Post Office.
