EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – A judge ruled there's enough evidence for a former daycare worker accused of touching young boys inappropriately and having child porn on his computer to stand trial.

Thomas West, 26, of Altoona faces several charges including two counts each of Sexual Assault of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography.

West went before a judge Tuesday for his preliminary hearing. That’s when police told the court that one of the alleged victims said West had touched him in the bathroom of Altoona Family Child Care Center, and that the 4-year-old had said it happened "more than one time, like a hundred times."

Altoona Police Officer Jesse James told the court that West later told police that it was part of his cleaning process.

Police say another alleged victim told them West touched him in his own bedroom at his parents’ home, and that he promised not to tell because he didn't want to get in trouble.

An investigator testified that he took West's computer to a forensics lab in Eau Claire, found two videos that appeared to be child porn had recently been deleted, and interviewed West about it later.

“He was questioned about the files and he admitted that he does download and view that type of material," said Scott Kelley of the Altoona Police Department.

West was in the Eau Claire County Jail Tuesday night. His bond was increased late last week to $20,000 cash.

We left a message for West's attorney seeking comment after the hearing, but did not hear back.
