Pronschinske, Adams advance in Mondovi mayoral race

MONDOVI, Wis. (WEAU) -- An accountant and a contractor will be on the ballot as a city elects a new mayor.

In a primary election for Mondovi Mayor on Tuesday, contractor Treig Pronschinske received 151 votes. Accountant Ed Adams received 110. The two of them advance to the general election on April 1. Karl Zacharaias received 41 votes.

Late last year, incumbent Mayor Sharon Beauchamp said she would not run for re-election.
