Property tax deadline coming up Friday

By  |

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A tax deadline for many property owners is coming up later this week.

The first installment of property taxes in Eau Claire County is due on Friday. Treasurer Glenda Lyons says taxpayers should pay their local treasurer, unless they're in Eau Claire, Altoona or the Town of Ludington. Those municipalities pay the Eau Claire County Treasurer directly.

The second installment is due July 31. All property owners in the county make that payment with the Eau Claire County Treasurer.
