Property taxes due at end of July
(WEAU) - If you haven't paid the second installment of your property taxes, you only have a few days left.
Taxes are due Tuesday, July 31st. Eau Claire County Treasurer Larry Lokken encourages people to pay by mail this year because courthouse construction is making it difficult to get around in the building and to find parking.
Payment needs to be postmarked by July 31st and Lokken says if you miss the deadline, the interest and penalty is 10.5% August 1st.
