Just a few flurries are leftover across Western Wisconsin as the accumulating snow has ended. This low pressure system will continue to pull away. As it does so, the winds have been picking up and will remain blustery through the rest of the afternoon. Northwest winds could gust up to 30 mph at times. This could create some blowing and drifting concerns with the new snow pack, especially, in open areas.
UPDATE: The City of Eau Claire will begin a full residential snowplow operation at 4 p.m. today.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is also valid for Buffalo, Clark, Houston, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Taylor, and Vernon Co. until 6PM.
Skies will clear late in the day and into this evening. Cold air will rush into Western Wisconsin and temperatures will plummet well below zero tonight. Many places will be in the single digits and teens below zero for lows. Breezes will relax through the night but there will enough to cause some bitter cold wind chills.
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY will go into effect for much of the viewing area including Eau Claire starting at midnight tonight and run through 10 AM Friday. Wind chills could be as cold as -25 to -30 degrees at times.
