MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus is coming home to Wisconsin to deliver the keynote speech at the state GOP convention.
The Wisconsin Republican Party announced Wednesday that Priebus would be the featured speaker at the convention May 4 in Wausau.
The speech comes about a month after Priebus unveiled soul-searching report that charted a roadmap for the Republican Party to be more inclusive and attract minority voters.
That report has been met with skepticism among some Republicans, who say the party's problem is more about messengers than policy positions.
Gov. Scott Walker and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, both frequently mentioned as 2016 presidential contenders, are also scheduled to speak at the convention on Saturday.
