Red Cross in need of blood donations

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU)--The Red Cross is looking for people to give the gift of life by donating blood this summer.

It says that donations tend to decline during the summer, because many regular donors are on vacation and schools are out. It says all blood types are currently needed.

The Red Cross is hosting a number of blood drives throughout Western Wisconsin in the next month.
