Rep. Sean Duffy holds public discussion in Bloomer

BLOOMER, Wis--- U.S. Representative Sean Duffy paid a visit to Bloomer Saturday.

The Congressman invited any residents and constituents within the 7th district to join in an open discussion at the Veterans Memorial Clubhouse. People were encouraged to ask questions and voice their concerns about local and national government policies. Duffy says he makes a point to hear the issues directly relating to Chippewa County residents.

"It's a great way for me to get feedback and input from people in the community, and if I’m not listening then I can become out of touch and so I just think this is an important time to make sure the people have access to their government and I think the best access point is through their local Congressman," said Duffy.

Duffy headed to Superior Saturday night for another event.
