CAMERON, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man accused of having sexual contact with children he was taking care of is now charged in Barron County.

On Friday, prosecutors filed charges of 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault against Jesse Story, 22, of Rice Lake. A criminal complaint says a 5-year-old girl told investigators during an interview in late May that Story had touched her between June 2013 and September 2013 in a bathroom at her home. The next day investigators interviewed a 6-year-old boy, who told them that Story had touched him in the bathroom of his home. The complaint says the contact happened "frequently" between February 2013 and late May of this year.

Police arrested Story on Wednesday. Officers say it was the result of a joint investigation between the Cameron Police Department and the Barron County Health and Human Services Department. Story is due in court on Wednesday.
