EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Two people were hurt in a crash that left a minivan on its top Friday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of Galloway Street and Dewey Street in Eau Claire. Eau Claire police say the driver of a car that was headed north on Dewey told officers he was "looking up" as he approached the Galloway intersection. A minivan that was going east on Galloway hit the car and rolled. It ended up on its top on Galloway Street. The car continued through the intersection and ran into a trailer. Two people in the minivan were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers blocked off a stretch of Galloway Street from Dewey Street to Putnam Street as they cleared the scene.
