Rollover crash shuts down Brackett Ave. in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A main drag in Eau Claire had to be blocked off early Wednesday evening after a rollover crash.

It happened a little before six at the intersection of Brackett Avenue and Keith Street.

Eau Claire Police say a car going west bound on Brackett Avenue ran a red light and hit a car that was going northbound on Keith.

The northbound car flipped on its side.

Police say the 50-year-old woman driver and a 5-year-old passenger were both treated at the scene and released.

The driver of the car that ran the red light was cited.
