WASHINGTON (AP) -- Rep. Paul Ryan says he hasn't even begun to think over a Republican presidential bid in 2016.
Ryan says there "really aren't deliberations," about a potential campaign and that he is just focused on doing his job. Ryan spoke Wednesday at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.
After serving as Republican's vice presidential nominee in 2012, Ryan says he has focused on ways to combat poverty. He recently unveiled a series of policy proposals that he says would address that issue.
Ryan says he will sit down with his wife, Janna, at some point next year and determine whether to run for president or continue to serve in Congress.
