School bus driver caught in child sex sting

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Police in northeastern Wisconsin say they have arrested 19 men in a three-day sex sting targeting adults who preyed on children online.

Press-Gazette Media reports the Brown County Sheriff's Office updated the arrest total Monday. It says the additional arrests include a 40-year-old school bus driver from Shawano County.

Shawano County Sheriff Randy Wright says he does not believe the man has had sexual contact with students from the school district where he works, but the investigation is ongoing.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- A law enforcement sting operation has targeted adults who prey on children in northeastern Wisconsin.

Authorities say several men have been arrested for child enticement, trafficking a child and other crimes as the result of the sting which involved about 75 officers from at least seven agencies. The men they arrested over the last several days are from Green Bay, Appleton, Lawrence and the Oshkosh area.

Press-Gazette Media reports a man arrested in Ashwaubenon had two pairs of handcuffs and a gagging device on him when he was arrested. Police say a 51-year-old Green Bay man thought he had arranged a meeting with a 15-year-old girl, who was actually a Door County sheriff's deputy.
