Series of burglaries, thefts reported in Rice Lake

(WEAU) - The Rice Lake Police Department says it's seen a series of burglaries, and thefts this past weekend.

Officers say there were 2 burglaries and 6 thefts from vehicles reported. Police say a laptop, a camera and other items were taken from the vehicles, while lawn care equipment was taken from a storage facility, and fishing gear was taken from a boat.

Police says you should never leave valuables in your car, and make sure to lock your cars.
