Sex offender to be released in Chippewa Falls
(WEAU) - Police is letting the public know about a convicted sex offender who will be living in the area.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says starting Wednesday, David Lafranchi, 58, will live at 15 ½ West Spring Street in Chippewa Falls. LaFranchi was convicted of sex offenses involving adolescent girls. He was released from prison in March.
LaFranchi will be electronically monitored and will not be allowed near any schools or parks.
