EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- People came together to help in the fight against epilepsy Tuesday night in Eau Claire.

The annual Share The Flame dinner and silent auction was held at Fanny Hill Dinner Theatre -- with the proceeds going to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin.

The non-profit works to stop seizures, find a cure and educate the public about the neurological disorder.

Rick Wallin, the Executive Director at the Epilepsy foundation of Western Wisconsin says, "the money we raise tonight (Tuesday) for this goes towards our community education programming and our client service programming. They are two of our major programs for the epilepsy foundation. It goes to help the almost 14,000 people in western Wisconsin who have epilepsy."

Sports Director, Bob Gallaher was once again the master of the ceremony.

WEAU is a proud sponsor of the event.
