Sparta Police investigate car arson

On Sunday, September 30, 2012, at 5:18 a.m., Sparta Officers were called to a report of a vehicle on fire in the Culver's parking lot on W Wisconsin ST. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle in the back lot fully engulfed in flames.

The vehicle was identified as a bronze colored 2002 four
door Chevy Impala belonging to Heather Lee, age 24, of Osseo, WI. The City Fire Department extinguished the fire; Culver's reported damage to its parking lot, nearby shrubs and a sign.

There were no injuries.

Video obtained by investigators show the vehicle being driven into the
parking lot at approximately 5:06 a.m. on Sunday morning. After parking the vehicle, suspects are seen getting out of the vehicle and setting it on fire.

At 6:38 a.m., the owner of the vehicle reported the vehicle as stolen from the 1300 block of 4th Street South in the City of La Crosse.
This investigation remains ongoing.
