BARRON, Wis. (WEAU)-- Deputies believe speed and alcohol were involved in an ATV crash that sent a man and his child to the hospital.

Barron County Sheriff's Deputies say it happened just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, south of Barron. Investigators say a 41-year-old man and his 3 and a half year-old son were riding the ATV when the driver lost control and rolled over. Neither were wearing a helmet.

Both were flown to hospitals in Minnesota, the father is in serious condition and his son is in stable condition. The crash is still under investigation.
