State Supreme Court candidate Roggensack stops in Eau Claire

(WEAU) - Wisconsin's Supreme Court race on Tuesday has Pat Roggensack looking to defend her seat on the bench and there's more outside spending at play on her behalf.

She was in Eau Claire at the chamber Thursday. According to a new report on TV ads by the non-partisan Brennan Center for Justice, Roggensack has three times the spending support as challenger Ed Fallone.

She says her 17 years as a judge gives her the edge. “I can give the public a much more thorough review of the cases that come to the Supreme Court than I could do if I’d never been a judge.” Roggensack told us.

Fallone, a Marquette University Law School Professor, was in town earlier this month. He told us he would bring a fresh perspective to the job.
