CONSUMER ALERT: State department advises consumers to avoid eating Milwaukee company's recalled food products

MADISON, Wis. (WEAU) -- The state is suggesting that anyone who has a certain company's food products avoid eating them because of possible contamination.

In September, WEAU 13 News reported that Garden-Fresh Foods of Milwaukee was recalling several food products because of possible Listeria contamination. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection says the company hasn't received any reports of sickness from anyone who ate the recalled food. Now the company is concerned that people have their food in their freezers, which is now expired.
