Stolen camaro found in Eau Claire


On Saturday, March 23, 2013, at about 0812 hours, the Village of Lake Hallie Police Department responded to Chilson Motors, 1983 South Prairie View Road, to investigate a Burglary that involved a Theft of a blue in color, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, valued at $29,000.

The Camaro had been parked inside the garage and was missing. Entry was made by breaking a window.

The stolen Camaro from Chilson's was located by a resident who lives in Eau Claire near Birch St. It was observed parked in an alley.

The citizen called the City of Eau Claire Police and reported it. The vehicle has been towed back to the Village of Lake Hallie to be processed for evidence.
