Lucky high school grad wins a car from Prestige Kia

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Area high school graduates tested their luck Thursday for a chance to win a car.

It was called the "Good Grads Choice Give-Away", where Prestige Kia gave the lucky winner a choice between two cars.

To qualify the high school grads needed to attend their senior lock- in after graduation.

The finalists were selected at random, all got to spin the wheel.

It came down to two students from Altoona and Chippewa Falls McDonell, where Bailey Eckert walked away with the grand prize.

"It was weird because I knew the girl that won it last year, I was really close with her. And then to think, there is no way I'm going to get back to back from the same school especially coming from such a small school, I didn't think I had a chance at all so it was still exciting to win it," explains Eckert.

She had the option to lease a new Kia Soul for a year, or own a 2008 Dodge Avenger.

She chose the Avenger.
