NEW INFORMATION: Road blocked off for an hour after crash

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Police say a car ended up on its side after the driver swerved and hit a parked car.

It happened on Fairfax Street and Sessions Street in Eau Claire around 12:30 p.m.

Eau Claire police say the woman was headed north on Fairfax when the crash happened. She went to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Crews blocked off a stretch of Fairfax Street for about an hour.
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Crews have blocked multiple lanes of traffic at the scene of a traffic crash.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Fairfax Street at the intersection of Sessions Street in Eau Claire.

There's no word on how many vehicles were involved, or whether anyone is hurt. Eau Claire police are asking drivers to use an alternate route.
