EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – City crews are working to fix a collapsed sanitary sewer main.

A message on the City of Eau Claire Facebook page says the Utility Division found the problem on the 2500 block of Patton Street, and that repair would start at 9:30 a.m. The message does not indicate what caused the collapse.

The city is not detouring southbound traffic around the area, but northbound traffic will detour from East Lexington Blvd. to Rudolph Rd. to Clairemont Avenue.
