TRAFFIC ALERT: Freeway lanes open near scene of U.S. 53 crash

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol says all lanes were open at the crash scene as of about noon Friday.
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Crews are investigating a traffic crash that has a stretch of the left lane of U.S. Highway 53 north shut down.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the crash happened around 10:40 a.m. Friday at the County Road B interchange, which is near Tilden. The lane is expected to be closed for an hour.

There was no immediate word on what led up to the crash.
