TRAVEL ALERT: Crews detouring traffic around water main break in Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (CITY OF EAU CLAIRE NEWS RELEASE) - There is a water main break on the 2800 block of Eddy Lane. Because of the location, there will be a traffic detour:
Vehicles going to the North will take Hastings Way Service Road to Pinehurst Road to Locust Lane back to Eddy Lane. Vehicles going to the South will take Northland Drive to Terry Lane to Abbe Hill Drive back to Eddy Lane.
Once the repair is complete, the excavation will be backfilled, and the water will be turned back on. The street will be temporarily patched on Thursday, 1/31/13, and in the meantime we will have barricades along the disturbed area of the street to warn drivers of the gravel patch.
