EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – A summertime event that attracts thousands of people has an uncertain future.
The United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley says it's ending its involvement in Taste of the Valley. It made the decision because of declining revenues and fewer resources.
The Eau Claire Press Company is Taste of the Valley's other principal organizer. It says it's talking to other non-profit organizations about coming on board to keep the event going. Taste of the Valley started in 2007, but it saw declining revenue in the last two years.
