Teacher accused of having sex with students could be nearing plea deal

BARRON, Wis. (WEAU) - A teacher accused of having sex with high school students could be nearing a plea deal.

During a court appearance Wednesday, prosecutors and Andrea Ebert's attorney told a judge that they need more time to reach a deal, but the deal is close. Ebert's next court appearance will be July 31st.

Ebert's charged with having sex with two Rice Lake High School boys over the winter.

A criminal complaint says she admitted to having sex with the two 17-year-old boys.
