Teen charged in connection to buggy crash pleads not guilty

TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)--A Strum teenager charged in a crash involving an Amish buggy has pleaded not guilty.

Online court records show 19-year-old Bradey Engen made the plea in Trempealeau County Court Tuesday. A signature bond was also set at $1,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Engen told officers he was buying something on eBay when he crashed his car into the buggy in May.

Nine people were hurt, including seven children.
