Teen charged with buying stolen prescription drugs from a minor

PEPIN COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - Durand Police have charged teenager with buying stolen prescription drugs from a minor in Pepin County.

The Durand Police Department says Nelson Stewart, 17, talked on Facebook with the juvenile about the stolen oxycodone pills.

The minor told police that he sold the pills to Stewart to pay of a debt.
Stewart is charged with use of a child to distribute drugs and possession of narcotic drugs.

The juvenile was referred to Pepin County human services.
