MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- An Argyle teenager accused of helping set a fire that killed his three nephews has been found competent to stand trial.

WKOW-TV reports 18-year-old Jeremy Wand appeared in Lafayette County Circuit Court Thursday where a judge determined he would be able to assist attorneys in his defense.

Wand faces three counts of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and one count of arson.

Prosecutors say he helped his uncle, Armin Wand III, set a fire Sept. 7 that killed Armin Wand's three sons -- 7-year-old Allen, 5-year-old Jeffrey and 3-year-old Joseph. Sharon Wand rescued the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Jessica, from the fire.
