Teen dies in Clark County Crash

A 19-year-old girl is dead after a crash in Clark County.

The Clark County Sheriff's Department says it happened on Sunday around 11:45 a.m. in the Township of Thorp. The department says 21-year-old Brandon Timlin of Eau Claire was southbound on Copenhaver Avenue when he failed to yield at the stop sign at Highway X. The car was hit in the passenger side by an eastbound truck. Timlin's passenger, Shenea Mueller of Eau Claire, was taken to Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley, then airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Deputies say she later passed away from internal injuries sustained from the crash.

The department says Timlin and the driver of the truck had minor injuries. Deputies say the roads were snow covered and slippery.
