Teen driver taken to hospital in train vs. car crash

BALDWIN, Wis. (WEAU) -- A teenager driving a car is hurt after being hit by a train in St. Croix County.

The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office says it happened at the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing in Baldwin just before 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Deputies say 17-year-old Jordan Nutt of Woodville stopped at the stop sign at the rail tracks.

According to witnesses, the car then continued to move and was hit by a train.

Nutt was taken to Regions Hospital with various injuries.
