The Biggest Loser Run Walk planned for Carson Park in October

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Get ready to lace up your running shoes!

The Biggest Loser Run Walk Race Series is coming back to our area on October 19. Organizer Dan Ekblad made the announcement on Friday. It will be held at Carson Park in Eau Claire. The first Biggest Loser Run Walk in Eau Claire was held in October 2013. More than 3,000 people participated.

Organizers suggest signing up early, and to start forming teams now. The event is a a race for people at all fitness levels, and includes a half-marathon, a 5K, and a one-mile Kids Fun Run. For more information, click on the link on the right side of this story.
